Great book for teens

I really liked this book. I think it made it easier for teenagers to understand The Bible on having a strong mind. My son is 14 and he said that it helped him understand a lot of things about what these scriptures mean. The information is relevant to what young teens are going through today. Peer pressure is at an all time high. I like that this book will help him stay positive and hopeful in these days and times. I believe when you have a strong mind you will not be easily influenced by others. I want him to be able to be strong as he grows into manhood.

Rough around the edges

The adult version was so good, we were excited to find this. We were surprised to find such worldly references, such as Freddie Crueger! Our kids were not familiar with that and it's not something we intended on educating them on :/. We put this aside until we can go through it and amend it more specifically for our teens. If your teen is unsaved, street smart or not in a relationship with God, this would be a great tool as is. Otherwise, we strongly recommend "screening" it first. The tools are so needed but the presentation of the information is very rough.

My daughter really enjoyed reading this book. We took time to talk about each chapter and I found it to be a really good guide.
